You may have noticed I haven’t been very active on socials lately. Toward the end of last year, I was dealing with extreme burnout, and more recently I’ve been navigating some health issues.

After a lot of thought, I’ve made the difficult decision to change the direction of the business for the remainder of the year. Working full-time, parenting, being a partner, and running Chunky Dough Co full-time has taken a significant toll on me.

As a result, I’ll be closing off all new custom sugar cookie and home-based orders for Chunkys and brownies for the rest of the year.

All orders that are already booked in will still go ahead as planned, nothing changes there. I just won’t be accepting any new orders moving forward.

Please know this is not a permanent decision it’s simply a temporary pause so I can prioritise my health and my family. I fully intend to revisit things when the time feels right.

I’ll still be popping up at selected markets between now and July, so keep an eye out if you’d like to grab your fix! I’ll also be offering limited seasonal cookie drops (like Mother’s Day), available in small quantities.

You won’t see me completely off social media, I will still be posting cookies and what is happening in the business behind the scenes 🫶🏼

Pickup is Christmas Eve, then I’m switching off the oven until 10th of January for a proper break with my little family.
