Brekky before work just hits different

Stopped into Turvey’s Bakehouse for a quick weekday brekky and it did not disappoint.
Good coffee, fresh food, and actually taking a moment before the day starts

I went the ham scrambled eggs with thick toast, and Leigh had the corn and potato fritters
Plus a latte for me and matcha for Leigh… and a cheeky choc chip cookie on the side

Such a nice way to start the day!

You asked for the pearl couscous recipe… so here it is 💚
Fresh, zesty, crunchy and honestly hard to stop eating straight from the bowl!

This one’s packed with veggies, herbs, citrus and a punchy lemony dressing that goes with everything (side note, feta would be an amazing addition).
I served it with marinated lamb cutlets from !
Bonus points if there’s a marg in hand 🍹

Perfect for BBQs, meal prep, or those “what should I make tonight?” moments.
