Running a quick, informal 10-minute walkthrough of your storage footprint every Friday afternoon keeps your site safe and prevents sudden, costly structural failures.
Frame Twists: Look down the line of your steel uprights to spot minor bows, bends, or structural warps.
Safety Pins: Check that every single beam connection still has its bright safety locking pins firmly in place.
Floor Baseplate Anchors: Ensure the heavy floor bolts securing your frames to the concrete slab haven’t been sheared off or loosened by traffic.

"She’ll be right" doesn't apply to warehouse racking. ❌
Bent beams, missing load signs or forklift knocks are signs it’s time for a proper check. Small damage adds up fast on a busy floor.
Here's what to look out for:
