Well... that's a number we never expected to see 🥹🤍

When we started The Dappled Egg, we simply wanted a place to share our chickens, our hatches, our breeding projects and the occasional unusually pretty egg.

Somewhere along the way, 1,000 of you decided to come along for the ride.

Thank you for every like, comment, share, message, purchase, hatch update and photo of birds hatched from our eggs. Thank you for supporting a little hobby farm and helping us build such a lovely community.

Whether you've bought fertile eggs, chicks, pullets, sought advice, or simply stopped by to admire a particularly beautiful egg, we're grateful you're here 🤍

We've got a number of pullets becoming available and are thinking about limiting collections to a specific time block on either Saturday or Sunday.

Before we lock anything in, we'd love your feedback 🤍

🌿 We went and got ourselves a pair of little Dappled goats 🥹🐐

We've been on the waitlist for quite a while, and this season two little doe kids 'hatched' for us 🤍

They'll be helping us welcome visitors to the farm, accepting pats, demanding snacks, and occasionally taste-testing unsuspecting pant legs 😆🐐🌿

We are completely Smitten 🥹
