Finally found some time to get my cooking on today!!

First cab off the rank was Portuguese Bread & for the 1st time, it took longer to proof than normal. Must be the cooler weather. 🥶
As much as I try to make it into a longer type loaf, it always comes out "munted" but always delicious. 👁️👁️👅
(The end crust is mine😂)

A double batch of Edna's Lemon curd tea cakes. (I used a jar of lime curd that a lovely customer gave to me)

Some apple & cinnamon muffins & last but not least Shepherds Pie with Sweet potato on top for our dinner tonight.

We've had a few huge days & I've been MIA a bit. I have so many balls in the air atm. 🤯
Today was a lovely break with some of my faves for lunch in Mandurah.
Lunch was at Boundary Island Brewery & it's always so busy.
Bruce & I shared a pizza & although it was nice it didn't compare to the one I made when we got home.
The Caramelised red onion chutney on the base, with cheese, ham, pineapple & mushrooms on top, it was soo good, sooo quick & SOOOO much cheaper to make. 🤑

Fly in day & no Portuguese Bread today. Life's crazy atm 😵‍💫🫨
I did however get to cook a yummy dinner, using some beef mince that one of my new customers gave me. (They buy bulk beef & love it)
No fail mash potatoes from Cookidoo, steamed carrots & homegrown perennial spinach & Sally's rissoles with onion gravy cooked in my Firra pan. Yummo!
