Our native flower bouquets will soon be available to order online and are perfect for surprising someone special, celebrating a moment, or simply treating yourself.

Each arrangement features beautiful, seasonal Australian natives, grown and gathered by a local flower farm just 15 minutes from Smiths Beach Resort.

These blooms capture the raw beauty of the region and are ideal for in room gifting.

They’ll be available online very soon, ready to make your stay (or a loved one’s) even more memorable 💐

What you’re looking at in a protea isn’t a single flower.

It’s a whole system.

What we call the ‘flower’ is actually a flower head — an inflorescence — made up of hundreds of tiny individual flowers packed together into one structure. From a distance it looks solid, simple, complete. Up close, it’s layered, detailed, almost architectural.

Each part has a role.

Think of it like an orchestra. At first, it feels like one sound. But give it time and the layers start to reveal themselves. Different florets open at different moments. Some lead, others follow. Some add colour, others texture. The effect builds over time.

That’s why protea flowers last.

There isn’t one single moment of bloom. It’s a sequence. A slow unfolding. A shift from tight bud to full expression, as each tiny floret takes its turn.

What looks like one flower is actually a community working together.

And once you see that, you start to understand everything else — the form, the structure, the way they move through time.

Grow something extraordinary 🌸
