Tamarisk Farms is located at The Basin right at the foothills of Mt Dandenong. The orchard and vegetable patch are designed on permaculture principles.
The small orchard and market garden is on land that has been in the Dobson family since 1872.

A good crop of Damson plums this year - 7.5kgs. Damson plums jam is on its way.

I harvested a row of potatoes today. A total of 37kg. The largest one weighed 1kg.
