Riverina Ag Network

Riverina Ag Network Stimulating environments for growth in Agriculture through networking and professional development of young people in the Riverina 🌾🌱🐮🐏

The Riverina Ag Network provide networking and professional development events and activities catering to a broad cross section of the agricultural industry in southern NSW. Our vision is to stimulate environments for growth in Australian Agriculture through networking and professional development opportunities. Riverina Ag Network was established to provide support to young people in the Riverina

who have a passion for agriculture. With a broad reach the group allows people from various sectors of the supply chain to interact, foster new ideas and harness opportunities available to them. We are a progressive social network that organises regular events that are informative and fun. Our events are usually followed by a few drinks and a chance to network with leaders and future leaders in the industry. You don’t need to be a farmer or directly involved in agriculture to join- you just need to be passionate about agriculture and have a willingness to participate! Established in 2008, the Riverina Ag Network was previously known as the Young Professionals in Ag Riverina. The name was changed in 2017 to be more inclusive to all age groups and people who are involved or interested in agriculture or agribusiness. We provide our members with personal development, career growth and network development opportunities, with the intention of better securing the future of Australia's agricultural sustainability and profitability. We know that by bringing people together we not only create an opportunity share knowledge and expertise, but also foster innovation and excellence. This is vital for the next generation to be able rise to the challenge of doubling Australian food and fibre production in less than two decades. We also know that modern agriculture is becoming more and more complex, which is why we're doing everything we can to ensure that young people have all the resources they need to succeed. This means that we are running social and professional development events across the Riverina; we're centralising information and opportunities for training and skill development; and we're working closely with collaborating partners to ensure our young farmers and ag-professionals have a voice in the future of Australian agriculture. We have members from all facets of the industry: big farms, small farms, bankers, scientists, processors, exporters, traders, students. It doesn't matter what you do, if you're passionate about agriculture or agribusiness, now is the time to get involved in the Riverina Ag Network!
