Around my local town it is abundant with all this beautiful lavender, bottlebrush and wattle.🪻

I picked some on my way back home from the pools with Nate to help the bees out a little as I've noticed them hunting around and I have nothing in flower at the moment.

As I'm sitting here typing this i can already hear the bees buzzing nearby so it won't take them long to find it 🙏

It's easy to think of the solstice as the darkest day of the year, but to me it has always been about hope.

This is the moment the light begins returning.

Even if we can't see it yet, the wheel has already turned.

So light the fire, fill the soup pots, gather your people, and celebrate the quiet promise of what is to come.

Day ONE in the garden 🥳🌱

I have never felt this whole.

Years of dreaming, planning, collecting, building, hoping, and yes, crying, have led to this moment. Back in 2020, this felt like a wild dream that belonged in my imagination more than reality.

Today was day one...

A reminder that dreams don't always happen overnight, but they do happen. Sometimes the things that keep calling you are the things you're meant to do.

Our first-of-many garden preparation days 🏡
So glad to have Aiva out here helping me it's been a really nice day working out in the sun together before this rain comes again 🙏
Ended up having Aiva, Ivy, Nate and Grandma out helping with the bricks today.
The bricks are just to border the exterior of the garden to hold all the dirt in, it will also be fenced for pests, but you'll have to wait and see what we're actually doing as we go along.
Unfortunately I've ran out of bricks already so off to seek some more 🏃‍♀️💨
