Wow, what a beautiful (if somewhat frosty!) day at Nabiac Farmers Market. My heart is so full after spending the day chatting with so many fibre lovers, passionate gardeners and fellow animal lovers. ❤️🦙

We are heading up to Nabiac Farmers Market this weekend - Saturday 25 July.

The alpacas have been working hard growing more of that signature cloud-soft fibre and producing their famous 'Black Gold' organic manure.

We've loaded up the ute with fresh batches of our premium fleece batts, 'Baby Alpaca' roving, bird nesting balls (filled with our alpacas fleece), our special blend seed-raising mix, and our popular weed-free garden manure bags - ready to help your winter veggies and plants thrive.

Looking for a gift for someone special? We have hand-crocheted 'farm-family' stuffed animals and cute beanies... made by local Cloudy Hill Farm friend, Sharon.

One little ball. Endless warmth for the birds in your garden. 🐦

Our Bird Nesting Ball is filled with soft, lightweight alpaca fleece straight from our herd. Birds tug it free strand by strand to line their nests with something warmer than wool and lighter than cotton.

Wire mesh on the outside. Cloud-soft fleece inside. A free refill pack tucked in the box.

$25, and the neighbourhood songbirds do the rest. 🌿

This morning our beautiful Willow passed over the rainbow bridge... to live her eternal life in sunshine, chasing butterflies, moths, and chattering at birds.

I feel absolutely heartbroken.

They say that angels are sent to look after us during times of need, and she did indeed come into our lives at a difficult time.

She filled our days with endless joy, laughter, and happiness. She was a little pocket rocket... so playful and cheeky, but loving and smoochy at the same time. She was a lover of making dough and gave the best head-bumps.

Our beautiful Willow is one of the toughest and most resilient little cats I've ever had the privilege of knowing.

She has taught me many things over her long life... be strong, be resilient, never give up, move through life with grace, live life to the fullest, and make the most of what you have.

Willow came into our life when she was 6 weeks old and passed over the rainbow bridge at almost 19 years and 4 months. Her loss has left a massive gap in our lives.

Rest in peace our beautiful girl, God speed to your eternal life. 💔💔💔🐈‍⬛

A special morning spent at Nabiac Farmers Market, connecting with lots of lovely people over alpaca fleece and alpaca-poo based products from our alpaca farm in the beautiful Monkerai Valley NSW.

On Anzac Day it is fitting to recognise how lucky we are that we're able to freely enjoy these pursuits because of the sacrifices made by our brave service men and women.

This is my first attempt at 'carding' our alpaca fleece... carding is where the fibres are aligned in one direction.

It's extremely satisfying watching a pile of soft fleece become a saleable product, ready for spinning.

This fleece was proudly produced by Morpheus. 🦙🩷

Oh my gosh I'm so excited - our carding machine has arrived!!

This gorgeous gadget will align all the alpaca fleece fibres in preparation for spinning.

Looking forward to getting stuck in... after this Saturday's market at Nabiac.

Happy birthday to our shy boy Morpheus!
Tall, dark brown, handsome, and super inquisitive. 🎁🩷

When he's not munching on hay, he (and all our boys) love nothing more than sunbaking, rolling in the dirt, and going for happy runs around the paddocks (aka. pronking). 💕💕
