Last week was a major week for travel, we ended servicing and repairing machines in Moree. The joy of so much travel is we get to see what is going on in the region. It was excellent to see the crop harvesting in full swing, mega machines harvesting thousands of acres. It is a bumper crop this year hopefully the prices hold so the farmers can get a decent return for their hard efforts.

We have a beautiful coffee machine and grinder at The View Street Store in Gunnedah. The View Street Store was a very popular in the distant past, now it has had a reboot with its new owners Steve and Sue. They have done a lot of work to get the the store shipshape and spotless. The food is very good with burgers, fish & chips, wraps, plus the service is as friendly as it gets. Sue has had many years working in a one of the best bakeries in Tamworth. It’s good to see locals opening businesses and having a go.

What an extraordinary day we had yesterday. We installed two top end Dr Coffee machine in the kitchen dinning room of the workers camp, at the Goulburn River Solar Farm. We were commissioned to install the machines as a result of our experience working with complicated high end/output coffee machines and knowledge of reverse osmosis water filtration systems. Getting machines to perform and make great coffee under less than perfect conditions.
This Worker’s Camp houses and feeds up to 400 workers in one setting. The set up was impressive, apart from the footprint it is clean and well maintained and everything is done the most hygienic level. The setup was immaculate!
Goulburn River is currently the largest Solar Farm under construction in Australia, with just shy of ONE MILLION solar panels being installed. It will take about 2 years to complete construction.
The coffee machines were Coffee Zone T models, state of the art auto machine for high volume outlets.

We have installed a state of the art Dr Coffee, Coffee machine at a local iconic food spot. Fish and chips and burgers done the way they should be, the old fashioned way, which is why TC’s is so popular.

Coffee Prices are soaring.
Over the past year or so, coffee prices have continued to rise, driven by a combination of global supply chain disruptions and shortages of both green coffee beans and labor. The Green coffee bean prices alone have almost tripled over the past twelve months or so, with a 30% increase in the past month alone.
In addition to increased green bean prices, we are seeing significant increases in all our operational expenses — including energy, transportation, printing, packaging, insurances, property rates and rents.
For context:
Commercial gas prices have risen by approximately 35%
Electricity costs are up around 25%
Freight charges have surged by 30%

In the short to medium time frame, the price of your daily coffee fix will continue to climb.
