Indonesia’s independence was built through the sacrifice, courage and struggle of our heroes — from Soekarno & Hatta, General Sudirman, B**g Tomo, Cut Nyak Dien, I Gusti Ngurah Rai, Pattimura, and countless others who fought for our freedom.

Today, we honour their sacrifices while celebrating everything that makes Indonesia special — our culture, diversity, community spirit, humour, and of course, our incredible food! 🇮🇩

🍢 WHY MADURA SATAY?

Madura Satay was created with a simple purpose:

🇮🇩 To bring Indonesia to the world through satay. 🇮🇩

We want to introduce one of Indonesia’s beloved culinary traditions to the world, especially here in Australia.

Every skewer we grill is more than just food — it is a small piece of Indonesian culture, flavour and heritage that we are proud to share.

This year, we are deeply honoured to be selected as one of the stalls at Harmony Indonesia 2026, alongside some of Sydney’s best Indonesian restaurants and cafés, in an event with the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Sydney. ❤️🤍

The event doesn’t just celebrate food, but also the beautiful connection of culture, heritage, and discipline — from the art of Ottoman archery to Indonesian martial traditions.

Ottoman archery has inspired many traditional archery communities across Indonesia — especially those who value precision, humility, and spiritual focus. These same principles are deeply rooted in Pencak Silat and Indonesian warrior culture, where strength and respect move hand in hand.

Just as every arrow must be drawn with balance and purpose, every skewer of Madura Satay is grilled with patience and pride — a reflection of dedication in both craft and culture. 🔥
