Story time…
Over the last few weeks I had the idea for some new artworks, blending old and new elements together. With my current style developing more lines and dashes to share my stories, as I evolve and learn more artistically. I decided I wanted to do something special for Mother’s Day, as personally my Mum has always played a large role in my life; and rather than a regular giveaway for 1 Mum, I thought a treasure hunt would be cool. So the Thursday before Mother’s Day rolled around, empty house Kid free and music playing in the studio. The perfect time to create! I got painting, no pressure letting the creativity flow and by the end of the day I had 4 new artworks painted. 4 works as my little girl is 4 years old, very fitting for the 4 Mother’s Day’s my Wife had experienced. Boom!! It’s Friday time to frame, then set these works out in the wild! I chose 4 of my Daughters favourite parks leaving each artwork with a handwritten note and little clue to the location on Social Media. By the end of Friday I had been notified that 3 of the 4 artworks had been found, fingers crossed that lucky last painting was also in a new home. Moral of this story is it’s always good to put positive energy and loving vibes out into the universe, you never know how they will come back. Cheers Zac 💙🤙🏽💜
