It's been a busy week! This was a brilliant 2 day workshop presented by Nic Kentish. As a new farmer I took away so many ideas on yard design and the psychology of creating a trusted relationship with my sheep for efficient and safe handling. Now for lots of practice in the paddocks.
👩‍🌾 Want to feel more confident working with your animals?
We’ve teamed up with TasFarmers to bring you a hands-on, practical course focused on animal health and wellbeing — and we reckon it’s one not to miss.
You’ll spend two days in the paddock with stock handling expert Nic Kentish, followed by an online session with nutrition expert Sarah White. It’s all about real skills, real learning, and support from people who get it.
Tickets for the Riverside (North - June) program are live.
Tickets for Derwent Valley (South - October) to be released soon.

💰 Heavily subsidised – tickets just a fraction of the full value!
We’re absolutely thrilled to have the financial support of NRE Tasmania to make this happen. All tickets have been heavily subsidised thanks to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania’s Strategic Industry Partnership Program — making this a rare and valuable opportunity for Tas producers.
If you’re ready to upskill and work smarter with your animals, this is for you.
