A few old pics there too. Sal and Reggie love the chance to get on some eyeliner. Simon, who made that poster printed BOBAR for us on a hand printing press in the typeface we now use. Sometimes you cast yourself into situations where the only thing you have to guide you is your own instinct. And there’s no sweeter destination to arrive at than when the journey was blind, without signs, without experience. Honouring the women that are intrinsic to what bobar is. Like so many things, wine can feel like a lonely tough space at times for girls, but little by little it changes… and the rewards are tasty.

New wines, 2023’s are released. Made our way, for you.

Viognier - Homestead Vineyard, flowers beds and stonefruit blossoms, waxy flesh, textured, pristine and long. Our Viognier always amazes us, so much vigour and energy

Verduzzo - Bianchet Vineyard, chamomile, orange peel, straw and fresh pear, leatherwood honey, so much tension and presence, an arresting wine. A massive privilege to make a wine from this 40+yo piece of Australian viticultural history

Chardonnay - Nenagh Park, white peach, grilled almond, honeydew melon, taut and long. So excited for this release, builds yet another dimension to the long line of Bobar Chardonnays from this great vineyard

Pinot Noir - Nenagh Park, cherry and blood plum, raspberry, thyme, incredible detail and purity, dense but airy, levity with presence, you must drink it

Syrah Malbec - Highbow Vineyard, plum and spice, mulberry, ink, blackberry and nori. Supple, mineral, complex, brimming with the darkness and the light, restrained generosity. You will love this release
