ESDF was established in 2017 with the vision of eliminating poverty through creating sustainable economic opportunities for those who need it most. The main theme of ESDF is ‘Unlocking the grassroot potentiality”. The mission is to address the social and business challenges faced by local women entrepreneurs by establishing infrastructure, providing technical support, and developing consumer brands. We are committed to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as our guiding principle and strive to create positive social and environmental impacts through all our activities. We operate primarily in the Rangpur division of Bangladesh, where we work with micro-entrepreneurs to expand local markets and create value for all stakeholders. Our social businesses have an aggregated turnover of about BDT 100 million per annum, demonstrating the resilience and ingenuity of our local entrepreneurs. At ESDF, we believe that sustainable development is only possible when economic opportunities are accessible to all. To achieve this, we work closely with local women entrepreneurs to identify and overcome the challenges they face in accessing markets and growing their businesses. We provide technical support, access to finance, linkage with market and training in business skills and management, helping them to establish sustainable enterprises that benefit their families and communities. We are a registered social enterprise under the Societies Registration Act 1860 from the Register of Joint Stock Companies & Firm Bangladesh. We are committed to transparency, accountability, and ethical business practices in all our operations. Currently, ESDF is working on a supply value chain development project to establish a hub for local cheese producers. Through this project, we aim to create new economic opportunities for local communities while promoting sustainable agriculture and environmental conservation. ইএসডিএফ ২০১৭ সালে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়েছিল দরিদ্রতা দূরীকরণের দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি নিয়ে যারা সবচেয়ে বেশি প্রয়োজন তাদের জন্য টেকসই অর্থনৈতিক সুযোগ তৈরি করে। ইএসডিএফ-এর মূল থিম হল “ঘরোয়া সম্ভাবনা আনলক করা”। মিশনটি হল স্থানীয় মহিলা উদ্যোক্তাদের মুখোমুখি সামাজিক এবং ব্যবসায়িক চ্যালেঞ্জগুলি মোকাবেলা করা, অবকাঠামো স্থাপন, প্রযুক্তিগত সহায়তা প্রদান এবং ভোক্তা ব্র্যান্ডগুলির বিকাশ করা। আমরা টেকসই উন্নয়ন লক্ষ্য (এসডিজি)-কে আমাদের নির্দেশিকা হিসাবে নিয়ে প্রতিশ্রুতিবদ্ধ এবং আমাদের সমস্ত ক্রিয়াকলাপের মাধ্যমে ইতিবাচক সামাজিক এবং পরিবেশগত প্রভাব তৈরি করার চেষ্টা করি।
আমরা মূলত রংপুর বিভাগে কাজ করি, যেখানে আমরা ক্ষুদ্র উদ্যোক্তাদের সাথে স্থানীয় বাজার প্রসারিত করতে এবং সমস্ত স্টেকহোল্ডারদের জন্য মান তৈরি করতে কাজ করি। আমাদের সামাজিক ব্যবসাগুলির বার্ষিক মোট টার্নওভার প্রায় বিডিটি ১০০ মিলিয়ন, যা আমাদের স্থানীয় উদ্যোক্তাদের দৃঢ়তা এবং উদ্ভাবনী ক্ষমতার প্রমাণ।
ইএসডিএফ-এ আমরা বিশ্বাস করি যে টেকসই উন্নয়ন কেবল তখনই সম্ভব যখন অর্থনৈতিক সুযোগগুলি সকলের জন্য অ্যাক্সেসযোগ্য হয়। এটি অর্জনের জন্য, আমরা স্থানীয় মহিলা উদ্যোক্তাদের সাথে ঘনিষ্ঠভাবে কাজ করি এবং বাজারে প্রবেশ এবং তাদের ব্যবসায় বৃদ্ধির ক্ষেত্রে তারা যে চ্যালেঞ্জগুলির মুখোমুখি হয় তা চিহ্নিত এবং কাটিয়ে উঠি। আমরা প্রযুক্তিগত সহায়তা, আর্থিক সুবিধা, বাজারের সাথে সংযোগ এবং ব্যবসায়িক দক্ষতা এবং ব্যবস্থাপনার প্রশিক্ষণ প্রদান করে তাদেরকে টেকসই উদ্যোগ স্থাপনে সহায়তা করি যা তাদের পরিবার এবং সম্প্রদায়ের উপকার করে।
আমরা সোসাইটিস রেজিস্ট্রেশন অ্যাক্ট ১৮৬০ এর অধীনে নিবন্ধিত একটি সামাজিক উদ্যোগ এবং জয়েন্ট স্টক কোম্পানিজ এবং ফার্ম বাংলাদেশ রেজিস্ট্রি থেকে। আমরা আমাদের সমস্ত অপারেশনে স্বচ্ছতা, জবাবদিহিতা এবং নৈতিক ব্যবসায়িক অনুশীলনের প্রতিশ্রুতিবদ্ধ।
বর্তমানে, ইএসডিএফ স্থানীয় পনির উৎপাদকদের জন্য একটি হাব স্থাপনের জন্য একটি সরবরাহ মান ক্রম উন্নয়ন প্রকল্পে কাজ করছে। এই প্রকল্পের মাধ্যমে, আমরা স্থানীয় সম্প্রদায়ের জন্য নতুন অর্থনৈতিক সুযোগ তৈরি করতে চাই এবং টেকসই কৃষি এবং পরিবেশ সংরক্ষণকে প্রচার করতে চাই। আমরা বর্তমানে বাংলাদেশে দুটি উন্নয়ন অংশীদারের সহায়তায় তিনটি চলমান প্রকল্প বাস্তবায়ন করছি।
