3 things we heard over and over at DCBC

We spent most of DCBC listening. Here’s what kept coming up - maybe you’re dealing with the same:

-- “We don’t want full automation. We want control.”

Most brewers aren’t trying to eliminate work - they want fewer mistakes, fewer handovers, and a setup that doesn’t fight them.

-- “Canning is tempting - but overwhelming.”

The jump from zero to full line is huge. A lot of brewers asked about gradual steps into packaging without betting the house.

-- “Our manual process/gear works… until we scale.”

The tools that served you at 10 hL/week often buckle at 25+. Most setups aren’t broken - just mismatched to where the brewery is now.

If any of these hit close to home, you’re not behind - you’re just growing. And that’s fixable.

Want to map out what your cellar could look like 6 months from now, not just 6 years? Let’s keep the conversation going.

Automated kegging is no longer “just for big breweries.”

We’ve just published a new deep‑dive on our blog. It covers:
- What an automated keg washing & filling system actually is
- How CIP, control, and filling logic work together
- When automation starts to make sense for small and regional breweries

If kegging is a core channel and manual prep is a weekly bottleneck in your brewery, this one’s for you.

Learn how automated keg washers and fillers work in craft breweries, including CIP hygiene, control logic, labor impact, and when automation makes sense.

If your keg washer can’t prove it cleaned - did it?

A lot of keg washers look busy.
Lights blinking. Pumps humming. But what actually happened?

No pressure check?
No CO₂ purge?
No flow or temp logging?

If you don’t know the keg’s clean, you’re guessing. And guessing’s not good enough anymore.

We’ll be at Dutch Craft Brewers Conference talking process.

If your cellar setup leaves you second-guessing keg hygiene, come by.

"Looks clean” ≠ clean

Still rinsing kegs and hoping for the best?
We’ve had brewers tell us they didn’t realize their washer skipped acid. Or that their CO₂ purge was inconsistent. Or that pressure was never even checked.

That stuff adds up.

If you’re heading to Dutch Craft Brewers Conference, swing by and let’s talk about what’s actually happening inside the keg - and what can go wrong when it’s not right.

No gear on display. Just conversations that might save you headaches later.

On paper, many brewing events look similar. In practice, they do very different jobs for your brewery.

🍺 Public festivals
🤝 Trade shows
🔬 Technical conferences

Each attracts a different crowd. Each sparks different conversations. And each shapes a different kind of decision... especially when it comes to equipment, processes, and investments.

We pulled together a 2026 guide to Europe’s key brewery trade shows and conferences - complete with dates, locations, and focus areas, so you can choose where to show up strategically, not just socially.

It’s especially useful if:
- You're planning a system upgrade or expansion
- You want to compare kegging or packaging solutions
- You're exploring automation, energy savings, or hygiene tech

Or you just want to talk shop with people who get production challenges

Trust is earned - and we’re proud to be earning it.

Bibotech may be a new name in the market, but what sets us apart is clear:

- Custom keg washer programs tailored to each client’s needs
- Reliable support whenever it's needed
- A growing list of satisfied clients who rely on us daily

One of our valued partners recently shared this feedback on our GBP:

“Bibotech is a new but trustable company. The Bibotech kegwasher combines tradition and innovation, allowing the operator to create different programs for each need - something you don’t find easily with the competition. The company is always available to provide assistance. I have different satisfied clients working with the Bibotech Kegwasher.”

Thank you to Giampaolo Tonello for the trust and for sharing your experience.

We believe innovation only matters when it’s backed by reliability, flexibility, and real support - and this is exactly what we strive to deliver every day.

We just mapped out Europe’s top craft beer festivals for 2026
- handy if you’re planning seasonal launches, testing new markets, or just want your best beers in front of people who actually care.

But here’s what often gets missed in the excitement:

➡️ What happens after the festival?

More demand usually means more packaging days, tighter turnarounds, and a kegging line that suddenly feels very small.

This calendar is meant to help breweries plan not just where to pour, but also the production rhythm those events will demand once you’re back on the brewhouse floor.

If it helps you plan even one smoother festival season in 2026, it’s done its job.

And if you’re already thinking about scaling up, our keg washers & fillers are here to help.

European craft beer festivals have matured into sophisticated, city-wide cultural events where breweries engage directly with an increasingly educated public. In 2026, the landscape is defined by two major shifts: the expansion of “Fringe” programming – where tap takeovers and professional sym...

Most breweries don’t struggle to find events.
They struggle to decide which ones are worth attending.

In 2026, Europe’s brewing calendar is full again - but trade shows, conferences, and festivals deliver very different kinds of value depending on where a brewery is in its growth cycle.

We’ve pulled together a framework that helps breweries think about events not as traditions or obligations, but as targeted investments - aligned to operational, technical, or market decisions.

If you’re planning your 2026 calendar and asking “what’s the real return here?”, this article may help.

European breweries are quietly wiring everything together for the next few years.

No more standalone machines - it's all IoT talking to each other, predictive maintenance cutting breakdowns in half, and some basic machine learning keeping batches consistent.
The smart money's on automating keg washing and filling first: hits hygiene regs, saves water, and pays back in under two years.

After everything 2025 threw at you – costs, logistics, staffing, storms you never saw coming – you’re still here. Still open. Still pouring. Still making people happy enough to stay for “just one more”.

This year you made a thousand decisions to keep going when it would’ve been easier to stop.

The last greetings are for you: the breweries, teams, and communities that refused to disappear. You’re the reason craft beer is still alive in Europe.

Merry Christmas, and an absolutely epic New Year ahead. You deserve every single cheer. 🍻
