Winter in Somló.
This week it felt like we've seen all 4 seasons. One day we've been hiking in a t shirt to the top of the hill and today we are snowed in. The contrast has never been so big but the beauty of "the" hill is always there. Somló really is a patchwork of small vineyards on this gorgeous volcanic hill. The appellation is only for white wines from indigenous varities such as Juhfark, Furmint, Harslévelű, olaszrizling, csomorika and many more.

Grapes are coming in everywhere, the quality is amazing, the weather on our side and all this wonderfull people are making everything fall in to place.

Gratefull for our partners and all the harvesters out there giving good energy to this beautifull vintage 2025.

An intense week with so much beauty and friendship. We have been spoiled by good weather that turned the vineyards into amazing golden and bronze fall colours. 2024 is tasting very promising and we appreciated all the warm welcomes everywhere.
