The floods nearly erased a century-old history—one passed down through generations, where the land, the grapes, and the wine have always been at its core. Otto Winery chose to rebuild—not just its vineyards, but its entire identity. Amid the wreckage, a century-old letter from one of the founders was recovered, inspiring a complete transformation.
The new logo, painted over water, symbolizes rebirth—its fluid and imperfect edges reflecting the very waters that nearly wiped everything away. The new labels, with irregular cuts inspired by the fragments of the recovered letter, represent a story being rewritten every day, turning each bottle into a tribute to resilience.
More than a brand renewal, this project is proof of design’s power in storytelling. Otto Winery stands as a symbol of hope, showing that even after destruction, we can create something beautiful—something that inspires others. Wine has always been present at the table, shaping moments. This time, it’s no different.
