Today is a deeply sacred day in the history of our Mindrolling lineage. With profound reverence, the Yoedsal Mindrolling Foundation marks the 312th Maha-Parinirvana anniversary of the incomparable Great Terton and founder of Mindrolling, Chögyal Terdag Lingpa (1646 – 1714).

Considered a great pillar of the Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism, Terdag Lingpa was a visionary master, a profound scholar, and the repository of invaluable K**a and Terma (Treasured) teachings. His life’s work in establishing the Mindrolling Monastery and ensuring the precise preservation of these sacred lineages provided an unshakeable foundation that continues to guide countless practitioners today.

On this auspicious day, we join our hearts in solemn prayer and aspiration. We honor his vast compassion, his boundless wisdom, and his tireless dedication to the Dharma.
