They serve jangbuli too. 😋
Overall food rating: 4.8/5 (I enjoyed the crispy chilli potatoes (it is crispy, tasty, without food colouring unlike some places where they add food colours/sauce and/or it is soggy. Shakam ezay is tasty too and they mix it with datshi instead of the packed cheese. Lom kam is crispy and 😋, but oily. So I wouldn't recommend if you prefer less oil. I enjoyed p**a too.)

If you like mocha, try white mocha
This is the only cafe who sell white mocha in town & its 😋.

Spicy veg. lhomein noodle (Chinese chowmein soya sauce) at opposite WWF Kawangjangsa.
Food rating: 4.5/5 (It has balanced flavors of slightly sweet, salty and savory. It is also available with tofu and sh*take.).
Price: Nu.140/-
SC & BST: ✅ (SC)

Ambience: Quite, and spacious space. A good space to take your laptop, and work as its quiet given its location around offices.
Smoking area: ❎ (outside)
Parking- Free, but maybe difficult to find during office hours.
Service- 👍
Would I go again? Yes.!

From my Phuentsholing trip last month, I visited Kaja throm. Got myself coffee and an almond cake.
Overall rating: 2.5/5 (It was stale so did not enjoy.) 😕

Ambiance: Spacious with several other food options.

Parking fee- ✅ (plenty of parking spot as its located on the top floor of the multi-plex parking.)
Service- 👍
Would I go again? Probably, to try othet food.

Lunch from my recent trip in Trongsa. Puri with kewa datshi and beef momo in New Phuntsho Pelri Bar & resturant in Trongsa town located on the main road above Trongsa vegetable market.
Overall rating: 3.8/5 (Prefered beef momo with ezay 😋. Puri and kewa datshi is just ok).

Fresh homemade beef shabalay sold in a cottage behind ticket counter, at the City bus parking, Thimphu. It is run by a Tibetan family, and their balays are 😋👍. They also prepare other food items such as momos, kabzay, and balay (tibetan bread). You can order ahead, or go there order and if interested eat there itself.
Overall rating: 5/5
Price: Nu.30/- for 1 shabalay.

Meal at Phangu located in Taba above the main road.
Overall rating: 2.8 (The ambiance and interiors are 👍🤩, and good options on the menu (such as rice varieties, and other traditional food items), but the taste of food is ok. I like the ezay options served with the meal. I recommend you here for their ambiance and for tourist guests/friends.

This June, visited Dagana town for the first town. Ate puri with fried asparagus, ema datshi, and ezay in Yeewong Norphel hotel, Dagana town.
Food rating: 5/5 (Puri was 👍. Less oil, thickness, quantity served and taste 😋. Quantity of oil 👍, unlike most places who serve puris with a generous amount of oil.)
