The tasting.

There you are, with an open pack of Guilty Pleasures and it’s around 1000hrs office time. The aroma has already filled the room, inviting unwanted attention. 🙈🫣

Your inbox is swamped with a tsunami of emails you need to attend to. Your supervisor is circling you like a vulture from that inviting aroma. 🦅😢🙆🏾‍♂️

The flavor on the pack reads Sweet Chillie, and you wonder how sweet it is? Is it chutney sweet? Or Pork ribs sweet, the curiosity is just building up. 😰😩

So the plan is to nibble in and out of the pack, two strips max and get back to work. 🫣👍🏾

Okay 1st few nibbles. Oh, this is not bone dry, lovely. That wasn’t expected. The salt is a little on the lighter side, nice! Where is the sweetness, I thought they said ‘Sweet’ Chillie what exactly did they mean? And where is the chili? What spice is this? It’s all questions now. 🤯🤷🏾‍♂️💭

You walk back to your work station and you’re all smiles like you’re not the same person who didn’t want to get out of bed this morning.🤭

You look at it, the white jumbo pack, and think, it’s too early to snack. 🫣 But your curiosity won’t let it go, you can’t even focus. 🙈

Okay, just one bite, just one ☝🏾. Then the pack is already open faster than you thought. The aroma fills the room. 😊

Someone comments, “hmmm go nkga monate jang. Ke eng?”. It’s your supervisor. 🙈

Under normal circumstances you know you are supposed to be in trouble for snacking in the office at that hour, 😬but somehow today she seems too calm, 🤔 and already it hits you. She wants some. 🙆🏾‍♂️
