โAn Astounding Sip, a Heart Full of Gratitude.โ
GRATITUDE. โค๏ธ
That is what I felt watching glasses filled with The Golden Dragon being raised in a toast at a recent event hosted by Taiwan. ๐ฅ๐น๐ผ
What many donโt know is that almost a year ago, I created The Golden Dragon Sangria as a tribute, a product born from gratitude for Taiwanโs friendship and support of Belize.
To me, their contribution to our country is a generational gift, the women whose lives have been impacted, sectors strengthened, infrastructure built, knowledge shared and opportunities created.
In 2024, I travelled to Taiwan for training on behalf of the Belize Chamber of Commerce. While there, I had time to reflect and โconnect the dots.โ I realized that my own journey represented only a tiny part of the tremendous impact Taiwan has had on Belize.
While sharing these thoughts with my husband, my son Azario overheard me and said:
โMom, you need to create a Sangria for Taiwan.โ
What a marvelous idea. โค๏ธ
And so, we did.
๐ THE GOLDEN DRAGON ๐
A pineapple and dragon fruit blend created with intention, gratitude and symbolism.
๐ธ The pink represents femininity and honors the Womenโs Empowerment Project.
๐ The pineapple symbolizes prosperity and success.
๐ The dragon fruit and dragon represent power and strength.
The hummingbird represents unity and resilience.
๐ง๐ฟ And the entire design rests within the map of Belize, a reflection of the friendship and collaboration between our nations.
So to see The Golden Dragon being poured, shared and raised in a toast was truly a full-circle moment. ๐ฅน
Something created to say โthank youโ had found its way back to the very people who inspired it.
