What an incredible day for Sayab Farmers' Co-operative! 🌱 We are delighted to share that we have been named the Agricultural Co-operative of the Year! This prestigious award recognizes our journey from an informal group in 2006 to a formally registered co-operative specializing in bell peppers, leafy greens, herbs, tomatoes, and more.

Our thanks go to the Department of Co-operatives, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Enterprise, The GEF Small Grants Programme - Belize from the United Nations Development Programme - UNDP, and Belize Enterprise for Sustainable Technology (BEST) for this fantastic initiative and for recognizing our efforts. We're excited to receive BZ$2,000 in agricultural inputs, which will help us continue to enhance our operations and agro-processing initiatives.

Congratulations to Cvf Cooperative (Concepcion Vegetable Farmers) on their well-deserved second place – it was truly a close race!

This honor motivates us to keep pushing boundaries in sustainable farming and supplying fresh produce to resorts, restaurants, and markets across Belize.

We're so proud to announce that Sayab Farmers Co-operative has been selected as a finalist in the first-ever Agricultural Co-operative of the Year competition! This is a huge honor for us and a testament to the hard work and dedication of our members.

We're incredibly grateful for this recognition and for the support from the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Enterprise, the Department of Co-operatives, and The GEF Small Grants Programme - Belize of United Nations Development Programme - UNDP (UNDP).

A big shout-out and best wishes to Concepcion Vegetable Farmers Co-operative, our fellow finalists! It's inspiring to see the incredible work being done across Belize by agricultural co-ops. This competition is a fantastic initiative celebrating our vital role, and we can't wait to see who wins!
