They don’t know winter is coming. 😂🐑
And we’re certainly not going to tell them.
We keep our sheep outside, grazing and moving across pasture for as long as the weather allows.

Every morning the sheep are elated to move out to pasture after a night in the safety of their yard. They move out pretty fast!

Here is our guardian dog Fred. Always happy to see us and never too far from his flock.

The bottle lambs are waiting on the deck for their milk. Every year in lambing season, our kitchen counter is the lamb milk mixing station.

This lamb needed some care, and is doing well now.

Feeding the bottle lambs (abandoned lambs) by pail. We feed them milk for 6 to 8 weeks. Our sheep are grassfed only, so the bottle lambs need milk longer than a grain fed lamb would. When they aren't drinking milk, they're learning to Graze with the flock.

A view from inside the barn where our barn cats stay. This cutie was born this spring.

A view from inside the chicken tractor. These chickens are still growing feathers but have enough to withstand the weather, as long as they can choose to be in the shade or sun, in the sheltered area or in the breeze. Pastured poultry, life outdoors but still in a safe enclosure.

Removing food and water and the lids to the chicken tractor, before moving the chickens each morning. They're happily chirping away before getting a new patch of pasture.
