6 years ago Steve pulled weeds for hours each night after work for weeks. 
 
We had planted our lavender that June and didn’t put down grass seed right away. A choice we lived to regret. 
 
We had decided to get married on the farm in September. But the weeds were knee high by August + we didn’t have a lawn mower small enough to go between the rows.  
 
So Steve pulled thousands weeds, clearing the rows before we go married.  
 
To honour his massive effort we took a few photos in what is now our “Stone Plot” - you can see some of the weeds still holding on 🤣 
 
Happy Anniversary Steve Larmer - I’m still sorry I didn’t think to put down grass seed right away. Thank you for saving the day (as always).

School is back in session = it’s time to bring out the fall decor 🍂 
 
If you’re looking for a lovely fall outing, join us at the Farmoire Garden Market Social on September 19th in Drayton. 9AM - 5PM  
 
I’ll have a Tullamore Lavender Co. tent with the full selection of our dried lavender + flower bouquets. Perfect fall decor in my opinion.  
 
Plus, I miss the TLC community. Let’s sip a latte + catch up.

Views from the farm last week.  
 
We’re now closed to the public + focused on harvesting the fields. 
 
What a glorious 6 weeks it’s been. Thank you to the 1800 people who visited the farm. Your support is keeping this lavender dream going.  
 
We’re already making plans for next season.

Bring your kiddos to the farm on Saturday, August 1st to make a lavender wreath!

Important Details:
🎨 Drop in style (10 AM - NOON)
🎨 Craft cost is $10 (pre-booking required)
🎨 Appropriate for ages 3-12
🎨 Kids must be accompanied by an adult

This craft will be lead by Paige, a local elementary teacher. This is Paige's third year helping us at TLC + many of the kiddo friendly elements on-farm are inspired by her 💜 The workshop will be casual, exploratory + kid friendly.
