June 16 bloom update: the fields are in their fluffy phase.

Before purple takes over, the plants go through a fun awkward stage. Their stems shoot up + the field looks wild. Fuzzy + soft. Shimmering in the sunlight.

Our wheat field is also on track to turn golden in July. The contrasting colours are going to be gorgeous 👌🏻

When I was a teen, I loved a quiz. I hoped they'd help me understand my angsty self, lol. And then in my 20's BuzzFeed quizzes took over, providing an endless source of mindless entertainment.

So, I thought it would be fun to create a quiz to help you pick which TLC experience is best for you. Silly and completely unscientific.

Make this beautiful wreath with me on July 2. We’ll harvest + design beside the lavender field as the sun sets. Swoon.

Steps
1. Get your tickets
2. Arrive at TLC with friends
3. Harvest fresh lavender
4. Sip + snack
5. Build your fresh wreath
6. Take it home to dry
7. Hang it in your home + enjoy!

This 2.5 hour experience (6:30-9PM) is perfect to share with friends or enjoy quietly on your own. Cost $95 and include harvesting lavender from the field, all supplies needed for your lavender wreath + light snack and drinks.

At home your finished 18” wreath will slowly dry + preserve, turning a shade of blue.

There are three dates to pick from: July 2, 23 or 30.

June 9, 2026 bloom update 🌱

Toured the fields today, and I found the littlest bit of purple.

While we patiently wait on Mother Nature, we’re getting the farm ready for you. Signs up, gardens ready, menu set.

It's easy to focus on the moments of excitement, reward, accomplishment. But the simple moments of ease .... that's the stuff of magic.

When your nervous system is settled, calm. When your shoulders are dropped, when things feel manageable.

I skip over these moments too easily. It's hard to remember to relish when things go right. But gosh, in my most painful moments, I always wish I had. It's easy to forget how precious they are.

So I’m working on noticing when things feel just okay. Not special or amazing, but easy or simple. Because soaking in those moments is what will sustain me when nothing feels right. Maybe this approach will help you too.
