It is time for another International Year of the Woman Farmer SPOTLIGHT!
Meet Chelsey Grienke, the herd manager at Greenkey Dairy in Manitoba, Canada. Chelsey is passionate and prideful in her role on the dairy. She brings a strong focus on structure, accountability, and continuous improvement to the farm. Her commitment to staff training, clear SOPs, and annual employee reviews has helped build a culture where doing things the right way is the standard, not just what’s “good enough”.
Since 2022, Chelsey and her team have driven impressive results on the dairy, improving the preg rate from 20 to 28, increasing preg at 150 from 68% to 82%, and boosting milk production from 34 liters to 39 liters.
Chelsey is very much a data driven decision maker, with her signature phrase being: “Show me on DairyComp”. Between leading on the farm and staying active with her three young children and their school and extracurricular activities, Chelsey proves that dedication, precision, and passion drive success in her life and the dairy industry!
