19+ events. We host awesomely delicious wine and food events for private individuals, businesses, and charities that focus on the magic of exquisite wine and food pairings - our events are all about good wine, good food, good company. We have hosted corporate dinners, charity

fundraisers, bridal showers, home dinner parties, restaurant dining events, holiday parties, picnics, summer patio tastings, and more that vary in size from intimate (for 6) to large scale (over 150). If you need advice on menu planning, a private chef, caterer, restaurant, or event venue, we can help with that as well. Wine Journeys events allow you to slow down, connect, and take in the moment through the delightful experience of wine and food. You don't know what you're missing unless you have experienced good wine, good food, good company! Coming from Irish roots, food was always a central part of life. My parents, ever embracing things Canadian, added a new tradition to our Sunday dinner - wine. This developed into an informal wine club in University, followed by a full blown passion on meeting others during my adult life who loved wine and food. It has finally culminated with my ongoing studies with the Wine and Spirits Educational Trust and this page. WSET Level 3 Wine Award with Distinction

If you enjoy a richer, creamy style of Chardonnay, this one from South Africa’s Western Cape is worth discovering. It has a generous fruit profile, moving from tropical fruit to pear, lemon and ripe yellow apple, with oak, vanilla and spice adding depth and richness. The creamy texture and ripe fruit make it especially well suited to food, from creamy, cheesy pastas and BBQ salmon to a whole slow-grilled chicken.

Why should Friday have all the fun?

Make Wine Wednesday your night to get together, enjoy the patio, and discover a couple of great Niagara wines.

Join Trent from Wine Journeys at Debut Restaurant on August 26 from 6–8 PM for a relaxed summer evening featuring two local Niagara wines, each paired with your choice of one of three delicious appetizers from Debut.

Choose the appetizer that sounds delicious, settle into the patio and enjoy the evening. We'll share a little about each wine and the pairing along the way, but there’s no need to know anything about wine. Just come ready to enjoy yourself.

Good wine. Good food. Good company.

Today we lost an icon, not just of country music, but the best of humanity. She chose to use her influence and wealth to make life better for those in need whether it be want of education and books, those who faced discrimination, or just simply people who needed a hand up. We mourn her, but celebrate her light in a world that needs more people like her. People who care. Thanks, Dolly.

Your Weekend Starts Here: Patio Pairings with Trent and Chef Josie

Summer weekends always begin a little earlier on Friday afternoons.

Join me and Chef Josie of Grillicious on Friday, August 28 for a relaxed afternoon on the patio, with good food, great wine and even better company.

Choose one of three featured appetizers—Coconut Shrimp, Strawberry, Feta & Avocado Bruschetta, or Warm Spinach Dip—and I'll select two wines to pair with your choice.

I'm keeping the wines a surprise, because discovering something you might never have chosen for yourself is part of what makes these experiences so much fun. I'll share the stories behind the wines and why the pairings work, but you don't need to know anything about wine. Just come ready to enjoy the afternoon and see what we discover together.

Whether you're getting together with friends, starting date night a little early, or simply looking for a good way to ease into the weekend, we'd love to have you join us.

Friday, August 28 @ 4:30-6:00

There’s something about smoky lamb, rosemary and a glass of southern French red that just makes sense in August.

This Grenache/Syrah/Mourvèdre blend comes from Corbières, the largest AOC (Appellation d'origine contrôlée) in Languedoc-Roussillon. The hot Mediterranean climate produces a dry, full-bodied red packed with dark fruit, think blackberry and plum jam, alongside dried strawberry, black pepper, garrigue, baking spice and vanilla. Showing the beginning of bottle development, you’ll also find traces of leather and to***co. The tannins are there, but they’re smooth enough to make this an easy partner at the table. With lamb chops, fresh rosemary and charred lemon, the wine really comes alive.
$18.95 (Vintages)

Yesterday was Pinot Noir Day. There was no better way to celebrate it than with two local standouts: an excellent local Pinot from Cloudsley Cellars and delicious Nosey Goat Cheese from Upper Canada Cheese Co.
