I really enjoy making these signs!! My favourite signs to make are the round ones, although they are lots of work!

Here’s a look at the different stages of installing a one-piece tub and shower surround—from framing to the finished result.

One of the keys to getting that clean, finished look is planning for the tub fl**ge during framing. We frame the wall back slightly (about ¼”) so the drywall can extend over the fl**ge rather than sitting proud of it.

It’s a small detail, but it makes a big difference in the final finish and helps everything come together cleanly.

Another job getting closer to the finish line! 👌

From bare studs to smooth walls. We are making serious progress on this drywall phase! What part of a home renovation do you find the most satisfying to watch?

There’s just something about this stage of a project that always feels good.

The drywall is finished, the dust is starting to disappear, and that first coat of primer goes on… suddenly, it actually starts looking like a room again.

It’s one of those moments where you can finally step back and think, “Yep… we’re getting close.”

There’s still work to do, but this is the point where all the framing, wiring, plumbing, insulation, drywall and mud work starts coming together and you can finally see the finished project taking shape.

Something about that first coat of primer just makes it feel almost complete. 👌
