You are a different person to everyone you meet.

You are a thousand different stories.

Smoky skies yesterday morning on the river.

The orange has now dissipated and we are back to a more natural looking skyline, but those to the north west are still not as lucky.

Thanks to many of our “southern Ontario” friends for checking in. We are all good here. Praying for those in the TBay area, those fighting on the front lines, and everyone affected by the wildfires.

2 whole years here.

So hard. But also so worth it.

The sunset is one of our most favourite things about living here.

This beauty was a week ago today. It just kept getting better the longer we stayed to watch.

It’s the perfect reminder that we need to allow ourselves to slow down, look up, and enjoy the present moment.

Today, this looked like a painting.

In the midst of all the chaos, keep looking for beauty. Because you will find what you are looking for.

Stunning stairwell transformation!!

Thanks .construction.maintenance for helping us reach the heights we couldn’t (wouldn’t?!) get to!

Wallpaper removal and a fresh coat of paint have made a HUGE difference to this space.

We removed the carpet runner a couple of months ago and found the stairs beneath perfectly intact. Maybe we’ll make a little reel of the full transformation at some point!?

For now, enjoy the before and after of this space. Can’t wait to show you more progress!
