Two years ago I was carrying weight that affected everything — how I moved, how I slept, how I showed up for people I love. I didn’t ease into some elaborate system. I cut out everything except meat and stopped overthinking it. No macros spreadsheet. No gym membership. Just consistency, meal after meal, day after day.

The lesson isn’t “eat only meat.” It’s that simplicity beats complexity when you’re trying to actually stick with something. The plan that works is the one you don’t need willpower to follow — because it’s simple enough to become automatic.

If you’re stuck chasing the “optimal” plan, ask yourself: what’s the simplest version of this I could do today, and still be doing a year from now?

Been carnivore almost 2 years now, down 120+ lbs total. Plateaued hard for the last 6 months — scale barely moving, some days it even looked like I was gaining. Cut out cheese and smoky sausages about a week ago (my two sneaky calorie culprits) and boom — the whoosh hit.

Moral of the story: trust the process, not the daily number. The scale lies short-term. It always catches up. 💪
