So excited to have grown this Black Magic poppy (papaver macrostomum) from seed! I first put the seed through a period of cold stratification, then transplanted seedlings out while it was still cold and covered them when nights got too cold…I am now finally rewarded with the blackest poppy petals I have seen yet!
