Many of you know Joy Clarke as one of the friendly faces at the Bonnyville Farmers Market.
This past weekend, Joy experienced the unimaginable when she lost her home in a devastating fire.

Our market is more than a place to shop.
It’s a community that looks after one another.

If you’ve been wondering how you can help, this Saturday is your opportunity.

We’ll be accepting monetary donations at the Bonnyville Farmers Market, with all donations going directly to help Joy.

If you’re unable to attend the market but would still like to contribute, please send us a private message or connect with Linda Boser, and we’ll help you make arrangements.

Every donation—big or small—will make a difference.

Please consider sharing this post so we can reach as many caring hearts as possible

There's something special about Saturday mornings.

It's taking your time.
It's saying hello to familiar faces.
It's discovering something handmade, homegrown, or baked fresh that you weren't expecting to find.
It's chatting with local vendors who love what they do.

That's what you'll find every Saturday at the Bonnyville Farmers Market.

This week is all about DADS!

The Garden hub is focused on Grandpa
Grandpa's Garden Story #3

A young gardener was excited to plant his very first garden.
He carefully planted the seeds, watered them, and waited.
A few weeks later, tiny green plants started popping up everywhere.
There was just one problem...
He couldn't remember what he had planted!
Was that a carrot?
A bean?
A w**d?
The more plants appeared, the more confused he became.
Grandpa took one look at the garden and smiled.
Together they walked down the rows as Grandpa pointed out the tiny leaves of carrots, beans, peas, and lettuce.
Then Grandpa handed him a handful of row markers.
"Every gardener learns this lesson sooner or later," he said.
From that day on, every row had a marker.
Sometimes the best garden lessons come from making mistakes.

What's a gardening lesson you'll never forget?
