Found some cakes I forgot to post about because I didn’t get a chance for some decent pics of them and then just gave up.

One is a two-tier wedding cake, but it was going to decorated on-site with flowers by somebody else.

I added the floral tubes where the flowers would be, so you can just use your imagination, k? Pretend they were purple or pink. I bet they were purple and pink. Looks great, right?

Then another pickleball cake. Have you played pickleball? Is it fun?

Next, a book launch book celebrating “Tales and Tastes from the Village of Point Anne”.

Then we have cupcakes ordered for a Lilo + Stitch party.


A box of brownies…. Yeah, these were tasty.

That last cake I posted was super simple, but this one went full maximalist!

Specs included particular details for a travel-themed 40th bday cake. Normally, this design would include fondant components, but a very specific request of “no fondant” had to be considered - so we improvised and went with custom cookies instead! Some details were hand painted with edible inks.

Inside was a 3-layer vanilla cake with homemade strawberry jam and my fluffy vanilla buttercream.

Black, white and gold. 😍

This 3-layer chocolate cake was kept fairly simple, as there was a cake topper to add at the party for this 60th birthday, and sometimes less is more with busy decorations. It has two flavours of icing - my black icing is always a little bit chocolatey so I can use less colour.

Have I mentioned that I make baked cheesecakes?

This one was a chocolatey caramely gooey business. As I made the one that was requested, I also made one for myself and decided it needed toasted salty pecans and some turtles. So I added those to mine (sorry, other guy!).

Cheesecakes are one of my favourite things to make, so feel free to hit me up for one of those for your next occasion!

First look at this year’s Thanksgiving Weekend Cheesecake!

This is a baked pumpkin cheesecake with salted caramel and whipped cream.

I’m trying to decide…. Do I keep it simple, as in the first photos, or add cute fall leaf sprinkles as in the last photo?

Ok ok ok

Let’s talk about the EMERGENCY CAKES.

I have to be honest. You guys are terrible at planning. 😂 That’s ok. I want to help.

Everybody needed an emergency cake yesterday and I only had a couple of them available.

Did you know you can scoop them up when they’re available and pop them in the freezer for later? They only need about 1-2 hours at room temperature to be ready to eat, and they last about 1-2 months in the freezer.

They’re perfect for a last-minute dessert option for unexpected guests, a potluck item, or like, a Tuesday. 🤷‍♀️

Ok so this is where I come in. If you’re still reading this, you must need one of these cakes. Am I right?

I’m going to do a run of Emergency Cakes this week or next week, and this will give you guys a chance to stock up a bit. They’re $15 each. You can’t really go wrong.

I’m not able to customize these for the $15 price. I don’t know what colours or flavours I’ll be offering at the moment, but let me know if you want one for the freezer, and I’ll add you to the list! 💕
