Hey Folks, Holt is steer shopping again. He has reached out to a couple ppl already. But, he is looking for something to be able to take to the October shows... ( He is wanting Two)

- Must be January born
- Finish around the 1300-1500lbs
- Minimal white (maybe we have learned a lesson with Mr. Marshmellow and Socks)
- We'd like to have the steer to our place by end of August to September 15th
- Hair potential is real, Holt loves to fit.

We also have some kids in our club shopping, I would love to pass along info as well.

Its 4H Sale Season!
Holt is a local Bragg Creek kiddo that is a part of the Millarville Stockland 4H Club!

He is hosting at our ranch a get together to answer questions about 4H beef and what all goes into it for the year. This year, Holt's goal is to save money for university and buy a truck ( good thing he's starting to save at 12).

Socks was purchased from Westbrook Ventures- Luke Lewis & Jordie Buba . He has been a very fun project for Holt. Attending Farmfair International, Chinook Junior Stock Show and Fitting Edge Clinic & Show. Competing quite successfully.

We also encourage anyone to please attend our achievement day where our club will show breeding lambs, market lambs, heifers, cow/calf pairs and market steers. On May 17th at the Millarville Racetrack.

The wrap up event is our Market lamb and steer sale online June 4th at Noon.

His carcass steer 'Ultra' was purchased by the Bragg Creek Cafe & Bakery. A wonderful opportunity for a local restaurant to service local beef for their summer burger menu! Thank you!

Onto the next thing post bull sale, we slide into Spring Shows and 4H. Our wonderful friend, Peg suggested after purchasing a quarter from Holt last year that he host a “Meet Your Meat” so that he can get the opportunity to share with everyone why 4H, home grown beef is a superior product.

Please join us FRIDAY MAY 8th From 3-5pm at the ranch.
