This is how every batch of Major’s Mutton gets made.

It starts at the source - fresh, non-halal Ontario goat ordered directly from the slaughterhouse. It hangs to tenderize, then gets cut to specific portions by hand. From there it goes straight into the marinade for a few hours, letting the masala work its way through every piece.

Then it hits the karahi. Pure desi ghee, all fresh cut ingredients prepped the same day, everything cleaned and consistent. One big batch, made with the same standard every single time.

No shortcuts. No frozen. No compromise. That’s the process behind every order you receive.

31 ingredients. Every single one chosen with a reason.

Maj Saab didn’t build this recipe overnight. It started in the Army, refined over decades, and carried all the way to Brampton for one purpose: to give this city something real.

He calls it a saugat. A gift. For Brampton. For your family.

Fresh Ontario goat. Pure desi ghee. 31 ingredients. No shortcuts.

This is Major’s Mutton.
