Today is a very special day! It is the man behind the Pierogies Birthday! Happy Birthday to the head of Baba Zees, Matt! Matt decided to start making Pierogies at the beginning of covid and it became a full blown business! Matt has shown determination, dedication and resilience as the company has grown and changed. We are very excited as we wait for our new kitchen to be finished, then we will be back making Pierogies and Borscht. But today we celebrate Matt ❤️ 🍻

Baba would be so upset with us.... We accidently used 50% too much cheese in our baba style and our beer braised Caramelized onion this week, and extra bacon in the double smoked cheddar and bacon!
We thought about just saving them for ourselves, but even we can't eat 50 dozen pierogi!

While our Pierogies are amazing alone we decided to level up with this mouth watering pierogi poutine. We used our double smoked cheddar and bacon Pierogies amazing cheese curds topped with gravy. We HIGHLY recommend this combination 🤤

Contest will run until May 1st. "Pierogies for a year " is the equivalent of 12 dozen pierogies of any flavour available, taken monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly. Must be within 50km of brantford Ontario, or pick up must be arranged. No purchase necessary. Skill testing question will be required. At the end of the contest period, all names will be tabulated and put in a randomizer on www.random.org. After 7 randomizations the top 5 unique names on the list will win a prize. If someones name lands In the top 5 more than once, they will recieve the higher of the two positions, and spot 6 will move up. Only one(1) ballot will be given for liking the page, the post and tagging a Friend, no matter how many people are tagged. Two(2) ballots will be given for every share, and five(5) for every item purchased through our website.

Big shoutout to the pierogi queen herself on this . Even though she doesn't believe it, she is the driving force behind the scenes.
She went from a person who had never tried a pierogi, to a pierogi connoisseur. From never making a pierogi, to a pinching master in less than a year. The girl who never worked a night shift or worked in a kitchen before but did whatever was asked of her to help my dream.
She is the engine that drives us forward, that keeps us moving when we have to grind, and is always thinking ahead of what's next. She's been by my side since day 1, the face of the franchise when dealing with vendors and customers, and always pushing us to be better.
It's been a little chaotic in the biz the last few days, but 100% thanks to Ms. Chelsea we should have some big news very shortly! I can't thank her enough for everything she does for our company!
