The calves have grown a lot since I last posted on here three months ago! 🙂

We said “see you later” to the last of our community pasture cows today. It’s a sad day for us but a happy day for them! They get to graze and enjoy the summer. Already looking forward to seeing them with their big strong calves in the fall!

When selecting cows for the herd some of the traits we look for are good feet, calving ease, a calm disposition, and in my case most importantly a high level of cuteness so they can have little sweeties like this guy 😁

We are about 2/3 done calving season already! It has been a bit of a blur so far. So much work but so rewarding watching these babies grow.
