So my girl, Angie and I decided to give Lucille's a 2nd chance... We believe that sometimes restaurant can have bad night because people were telling me its good... This time around, we went on Sunday night when it's less busy.

For drinks, I had the Godfather which was strong and good! Just the way I like it 🥰!

For appetizers, we had the Oysters which were fresh and delicious!

For main course, I ordered the NY Steak with Sweet Potatoes which was really delicious 😋!!! I really enjoyed that piece of meat. It had a nice sear and was cooked to perfection 👌🏾! I was really impressed!

Service was good!

Overall experience, I am very happy to give them a 2nd chance but I will only go from Sunday to Wednesday night.

Y'all already know it was girl night once again lol! We decided to go to Vertigo in Dix-30 area.

To start, I had the White Sangria which was good at first then the taste was gone really quickly and I did asked less ice...

For appetizers, I had the restaurant's specialty which is Tartar. The waiter strongly recommended the Tuna one which was very deceiving... There was way too much sauce so it took away the freshness of the tuna and the crunchiness of the cashews. I don't know if he knows what a good tartar is or he just wanted me to take the most expensive one of the menu 🤔... My girl had the Octopus which was good and had Chorizo bites in it. Loved it 🥰

For main course, I had the Mushrooms Risotto and you already know that I had to add some protein because I don't do vegan lol. I added shrimps which were bland as well of that risotto... 😔 The server came and I had clearly expressed how I felt about this dish and how it should be done because I am tired of paying for trash... The cook refired the dish and came correct 👌🏾. It was way better. My friend ordered the Salmon pasta which was just nasty 🤮. Feta doesn't go well at all in a hot pasta dish... There's a reason why there's a million different type of cheese, it for different dishes, no need to overthink and over do it... Simplicity is key.

For dessert, we both had the Chocolate Fondant which was cold in the middle... I won't say anything else about this... because you already know the rest if you had a Fondant before...

Service was ok. He was nice but I wasn't too impressed and his recommendations were bad. 🙈

Overall experience, the portion were good but not the food unless they took my recommendations lol.

Date night, I've decided to be a little more fancy, so we went to l'Aurochs in Dix-30 area in Brossard.

For drinks, he ordered a bottle of wine for us and y'all already know I don't really do wine so I forgot the name lol 🙈. It was ok tho lol.

For appetizers, I had their Thai Fried Calamari which wasn't good😖. It wasn't crispy and was bland...

For main, I had their Flank Steak with Louis XVI and smashed potatoes. It was really delicious except for the smash, which needed more seasoning. He had the Salmon Tartar which wasn't good... It lacked seasoning and love.

For dessert, I had their Cheesecake which was basic.

Service was good.

Overall experience, only go there for the steak lol and bring your wallet because it's expensive!

"A friend at the time" wanted us to try this restaurant so bad so even if it was sold out online, I managed to get a reservation 😉. We went to GattoMatto in Laval area.

For drinks, I wanted their Follow the Rose Sangria but they were out of stock so I had their Rome Sour. It was ok.

For appetizers, I ordered their Fried Calamari which were dipped into baking powder and were soggy... A total fail 🤢🤦🏽‍♀️. I replaced them by the Aranchini Fritti which were also bad. 😪 It was canned tomato sauce, like really... This is an Italian restaurant, I expect the real thing... The inside of the aranchini had no seasoning and it was overcooked risotto... I couldn't eat any of those dishes.

For main course, I had the Linguini Aragosta which had the exact same canned sauce 🤮🤦🏽‍♀️. I have to say that the dish had a good quantity of lobster but it was bland... So you already know I didn't finish my plate.

For dessert, I had their Cannoli which wasn't too impressive...

Service was bad. The employee and management are rude! I was really surprised and will never go back, even if it's the last restaurant on Earth. I'd rather fast...

Overall experience, I definitely DO NOT recommend.

Guys, Arthurs open their 2nd location with a different menu in PVM in downtown Montreal and you can actually make a reservation!!!

I ordered their Avo Toast which is a pure delight🥰 It's fresh and the avocado has a nice seasoning! I loved it so much, OMG. I also had their Syrniki which was Amazing! It's fluffy and succulent! My daughter had their Cinnamon Babka which she loved.

Service was good. Our waiter was really nice.

Overall experience, I definitely Recommend!

Y'all know how I love girls night out and this time it was with THE BEST Hairstylist in town, Farah Mac! She's been doing my hair for the past 15 years so if you want to slay like me, the link will be in the comments.

We decided to try Sophia's restaurant in the Dix-30 area in Brossard.

For Antipasti, we had their Polipo Alla Griglia which is One of the Best grilled octopus I've had in my life!!! 🥰😍😍 It's big, tender and juicy. The best part, it's that it doesn't have the burn taste like other restaurants. The components were spot on as well. It was a nice mariage and full of flavors for your taste buds! It's so good that I keep ordering it at least once a month since I've went and yet I haven't been deceived! Just pure perfection👌🏾

For main course, I had their Ravioli Ai Funghi which was really good 🥰. Full of flavor! She had the pizza Spinaci which was good as well!

For dessert, we had their Cannoli which were ok, wasn't impressed...

Service was not that great I have to say. They should definitely work on that plus it wasn't a busy night...

Overall experience, I do recommend this restaurant especially for their octopus!
