Temporary Bread Merchandiser/Stocker Early Morning.

Looking for temporary coverage from Friday August 13th to Saturday the 21st. Sunday and wednesday are days off.

Job is stocking commercial bread in the early morning at 4 am and finishes around 8 am.

Must be physically fit. Experience merchandising or stocking shelves in retail settings preferred but not required. Training will be provided.

Canada Bread serves major grocery chains across Canada. The company distributes branded products in the mainstream and super-premium segments, and is the leading producer in most major bakery categories. It also produces private label products for grocery.

Approx 20 hours/week, possibly more (Schedule flexible)
Early morning start times (4 a.m., with split shifts during the afternoon 1-4 p.m. on some days)

Rate: $18/hour for training, $20/hour thereafter

Job Requirements • High school or equivalent • self-starter with strong communication skills and excellent customer service • demonstrated time management skills • ability to work independently • Physically fit and able to lift 40 lbs • CSA safety shoes required • Merchandise grocery stores in assigned area based on schedule provided • travel between stores in assigned area • maintain customers planograms and assigned off shelf displays • rotate products following merchandising principals • secure required shelf tags and price signs when needed • maintain a clean work area and rotate back stock inventory • help with seasonal planogram resets • work in a safe and health manner • bias for action and keen attention to detail. Must be physically fit. Experience merchandising or stocking shelves in retail settings preferred but not required. Training will be provided.

Could lead to longer term if driving position interests you. It is a 1 Ton pickup truck and a large trailer, so truck/trailer experience is preferred but will train the right person.
