Anyway, a week from today is butcher day for the broilers. They have grown like something fierce! Weighed one a few days ago and it was almost 9lbs!

Last call to get your orders in for these amazing, free range, gmo free birds. Price is $5.50/lb. Pick up in the Picture Butte area.

Real labels!!I’ve been looking forward to this 🤩🤩

Tomorrow, Aug 8, we plan to make an egg run into west Lethbridge! We’ll aim to park beside the shell gas station on university drive(far east side of the Safeway parking lot). We will be there from 11:00 -11:30 a.m.
Quick reminder. These are free run, GMO free eggs. Prices are $6/dozen or $14.50/tray of 30. Hope to see you there!

I’m literally tempted to pull up a lawn chair and watch this for hours 😅

First time outside for the broiler chicks! They initially didn’t show much interest (I think the bright sunshine scared them off). But now, early evening, the first few are venturing out!

Not sure if you can exactly call this a pasture 🧐. It’s a cover crop mix with another bunch of random seed thrown in. Should provide a nice jungle for chickens I’d think😅. 🌱 🐓🌾🐓🌿🐓🌻

Im cutting a small strip of grass in the ditch every day to feed to the calves. They’re loving it!!!🐮🐮
