We’re so excited to be heading back to Miss P’s Gluten Free on Saturday, September 19th from 10AM–3PM! This time bringing all the Playhouse fun and the fall favourites. 🍁

We’re incredibly grateful to Miss P’s for continuing to support Playhouse and for giving us another opportunity to show up for this amazing gluten-free community. Getting to build relationships like this with other local businesses AND with all of you is one of our favourite parts of what we do.

While we’re building our very first 100% gluten-free production kitchen + Playhouse storefront, our August menu will be a little smaller than usual. We’ll have limited menu items and limited order spots while we juggle construction, baking, and bringing this dream to life.

Hey Friends! Thank you all for the overwhelming love and support! It has been an amazing month full of new faces, loyal texture club members and so many new milestones to celebrate!

As we are fully booked on orders for July I will be posting the order form link for August shortly!! Over the next few months we will be working hard behind the scenes to open our production facility (with a small retail front) which means my order capacities will be limited. And to make things even more fun and chaotic we’re also moving homes in August! ( Airdrie here we come!) thank you all in advance for your patience and understanding 🥰

I will always do my best to accept and schedule your orders so that you can enjoy our labour of love, however as the owner and baker my biggest duty is to alway ensure the quality of your treats is top notch! So that will mean small batches at a time while we have all these moving pieces that will paint a beautiful picture in the long run!

If you have not been able to order yet, have an upcoming special occasion and would like to plan ahead please don’t be shy and send me a message directly!!

✨ We got the keys. 🗝️😭

Today it officially became real.

Standing inside our very own space is something we’ve dreamed about for so long, and now the hard work really begins. There are months of building, painting, equipment, inspections, and countless late nights ahead before we’re ready to open this fall… but it is going to be so worth it.

It’s equal parts terrifying, exciting, overwhelming, and magical. Every emotion all at once.

Soon, this space will become Playhouse Treats’ very first 100% gluten-free, celiac-run production facility, with a cozy little retail storefront where you’ll be able to stop by for pickups and sweet treats.

We can’t wait to bring this dream to life and create a place where the gluten-free community can walk through the doors knowing everything is safe and delicious.

👩🏻‍🍳😎 DONUT PANIC - BUT WE DID IT!!

For over 20 years, there has been one thing I’ve never been able to find as a celiac:

A real donut.

Not cake-like.
Not dense.
Not “good for gluten-free.”

A true yeast-raised donut that’s light, airy, pillowy, and practically melts in your mouth.I genuinely didn’t think this was possible. Until today🥹😭👏🏼 I do have to admit I cried.

Hot glazed.
Soft yeast dough.
That iconic Krispy Kreme-style bite.

100% gluten-free.

Then we took it one step further and made the donut of every 90s kid’s dreams… 🍩💖🌈

The Simpsons Donut.💖

Finished with pink icing and rainbow sprinkles, just like the one we’ve all wanted to grab through the TV screen.

This is exactly why Playhouse Treats exists.

To prove that gluten-free shouldn’t mean missing out.

To recreate the foods that become memories.

And to create those “I can’t believe this is gluten-free” moments.
