Peony, Marlee, Peach Pie, Marigold, Poetry. The three P girls awaiting their registration. They will all be available late fall.

Poetry was the fav during calving season. Still has the best hair and size. But Peony has stolen my heart this summer. Her face is just priceless. And she’s so curious. Real great as posing when the camera comes out!

YAY GURLS!!!! 💕 What an honour to be featured in the Nutrien Western Events Centre at Calgary Stampede Stampede Ag & Western Events along side one of my Instagram farming besties Chatsworth Farm and more amazing women in ag!!!

Being a woman in ag today is thanks to the many woman who fought hard for equality before us. In the 1970s we couldn’t own a credit card. Now we can take over multi generational family farms - thanks to progressive beliefs. My own misogynistic grandmother screamed at me when I climbed into the cab of the combine. My aunts never got the opportunity I got just one gen before me. Beyond blessed to have support and love from my parents, brothers and partner. And always grateful for the women who paved the way - I had to shout out up the fabulous Dr. Temple Grandin in my write up - woman like her are the reason I am here. And I hope I have paved the way for other woman since the start of my Instagram journey sharing my farm life starting 12 years ago now! I want women to know because someone tells you can’t doesn’t mean you can’t. Because you like lipstick and dresses doesn’t mean you can’t. Because you care for animals and land a little deeper than the cowboys doesn’t mean you can’t . When someone laughs in your face when you tell them your career, wear that farmer badge with HONOUR. Girl, if I can, you can!
