Another SPP-9109 sold this summer, delivered to a dairy farm right here in Alberta!

In late June, we visited this customer’s silage operation for a live demo. By August, we came back to deliver their very own packer. Because once you see 50 PSI more packing pressure in action, you can’t imagine silaging without it.

Tires drive spoilage.

We hear it all the time that running over a silage pile with just a tractor should be enough.

The truth is, all that tractor weight is deceiving, and what ends up happening is that pneumatic tires deform and float over soft soils, meaning you don’t have enough ground pressure to properly remove all the air pockets from your silage pile.

Meet Berend, our founder and president here at BORGH Agriculture.

If you can’t tell from his Holland World Cup shirt or his New Holland tractor, then we’ll fill in the blanks for you. He’s Dutch. So is his family-run dairy, Ter Borgh Dairy Ltd, where he rigorously tests all his equipment before it ever hits the market.

Berend has been designing and manufacturing his own equipment since 2012, and testing it on the family farm until it’s up to BORGH standard.

The SPP-9109 silage pile packer was born from the combination of years of both practical and technical experience, put into a product proudly made in Canada, that will long outlast other cheap imported alternatives.
