What a weekend, and especially what a day yesterday. The support was honestly unbelievable. We went through over 65 litres of vanilla soft serve, along with so many flurries, sundaes, milkshakes, smoothies, hot food, and everything else in between.
A massive thank you needs to go to our new staff members, Abby and Kyle. They stepped into an extremely busy environment, learned quickly, stayed positive, and kept working even when the line did not seem to slow down. Starting a new job is already a lot, but starting close to
one of our busiest days yet takes patience, confidence, and a really strong work ethic.
They helped serve customers, keep things moving, restock, clean, learn our products, and support the rest of the team wherever they were needed. More importantly, they treated people kindly and stayed composed throughout a very demanding day. That made a huge difference, and it did not go unnoticed.
We are still learning, improving, and building the team we want Five Kids Ice Cream to have. Seeing new staff step up like Abby and Kyle did makes us extremely excited for what is ahead.
Thank you to every person who stopped by, waited patiently, encouraged our staff, shared our posts, or brought friends and family. Your continued support truly means more than we can explain. ❤️🍦
