Fulltime Sanitation Worker

Western Fine Meats is looking for a reliable and hardworking Sanitation Worker to join our team. This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing our food manufacturing facility and ensuring that equipment and production areas meet our high standards for cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation.

Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize production equipment, floors, walls, drains, and other facility areas
Disassemble and clean processing equipment as required
Follow established sanitation procedures and food safety requirements
Properly use cleaning chemicals and sanitation equipment
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Identify and report sanitation or maintenance concerns
Work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
Follow all company safety and food safety policies

Qualifications
Previous experience in a food processing or sanitation role is an asset but not required
Ability to work evenings
Reliable, punctual, and dependable
Comfortable working in a cold, wet, and physically demanding environment
Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Part-Time Local Class 3 Driver

Western Fine Meats is looking for a reliable and experienced Part-Time Local Class 3 Driver to join our team in Claresholm, Alberta.

This position is approximately 32 hours per week and will involve local deliveries and pickups, primarily within the surrounding area.

Position Details
-Position: Part-Time Class 3 Driver
-Hours: Approximately 32 hours per week
-Wage: $20–$24 per hour, depending on experience
-Location: Claresholm, AB
-Schedule: Primarily Monday–Friday, with some flexibility required
-Responsibilities
-Safely operate company delivery vehicles
-Complete local deliveries and pickups in a timely and professional manner
-Load and unload product as required
-Ensure products are handled safely and appropriately during transportation
-Complete required delivery paperwork and documentation
-Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns
-Follow all company, food safety, and occupational health and safety procedures
-Provide professional and courteous service to customers and suppliers

Qualifications
-Valid Class 3 driver's license with air brake endorsement
-Clean and acceptable driver's abstract
-Previous commercial driving experience preferred
-Experience with refrigerated or food-product transportation is an asset
-Reliable, punctual, and dependable
-Strong attention to detail
-Able to safely lift and move product as required
-Good communication and customer-service skills
-Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Hiring: Maintenance Technician (Millwright)

📍 Western Fine Meats – Claresholm, AB

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to keep our food processing equipment running smoothly. If you have a strong mechanical background and a commitment to safety, apply today!

Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production machinery.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system failures to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate logs and comply with food safety (HACCP) and OHS rules.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns during production shifts.

Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years in a maintenance-focused role (food processing plant preferred).
- Certification: Valid Journeyman Millwright ticket or Red Seal certification.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and motor controls. Welding/fabrication is a major asset.
- Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied temperature environments (coolers/production floor).
