We’re thrilled to once again host the Comox Valley Whiskey Festival at the beautiful Native Sons Hall in downtown Courtenay! This historic gem — the largest free-span log building in Canada — offers the perfect atmosphere for an unforgettable evening of tasting and connection. Built in 1928, it has seen weddings, dances, concerts, and celebrations of all kinds.

How do you say it? And what does it mean? 🥃

You’ll hear it more than once at Whiskey Fest, so let’s get it right:
“Sláinte” is pronounced “SLAWN-chuh” (Irish) or “SLAHN-tchay” (Scottish Gaelic).
