πŸ₯ž Korean Hotteok – Crispy, Chewy & Sweet! 🍯✨
Make a warm Korean favorite right at home! Crispy on the outside and soft & chewy inside, Hotteok is filled with sweet brown sugar and is perfect for a cozy snack. Add mozzarella cheese for an extra delicious, cheesy twist! πŸ§€πŸ€Ž

πŸ‘©β€πŸ³ HOW TO MAKE KOREAN HOTTEOK
1. Prepare the Yeast Mixture
In a large bowl, combine 180 ml of warm water with 1 packet of yeast included in the hotteok mix. Stir well with a spatula.
2. Make the Dough
Add 1 packet of hotteok mix to yeast mixture and mix for 5 mins. Prepare dough, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, and included jam mix.
3. Fill with Mozzarella
Coat gloves with cooking oil. Place portion of dough on palm, flatten it. Add mozzarella cheese in center, pinch edges together and shape into ball.
4. Cook Until Golden Brown πŸ§€
Place dough seam-side down and cook over low heat. Once golden brown, flip and press it flat with spatula or hotteok press. Cook until both sides are golden and crispy.
5. Make Sweet Hotteok, Too!
For sweet version, fill dough with jam mix instead of mozzarella. Make both cheese and sweet hotteok so everyone can enjoy favorite!
6. Make a Special Cheesy Hotteok
Top cooked sweet hotteok with remaining mozzarella cheese and jam mix. Microwave for 1:30 mins, or until cheese is melted.
