Looks like I smell Squashberries in my future! And if you know, you KNOW… that unmistakable “dirty socks” smell we always talked about!

What a day at the Makers & Gardeners Market in Codroy Valley!

I was too busy chatting and selling to take a photo of my table, but here’s a peek at the Apricot Jalapeño Jelly and Sweet Mustard Pickles and proof of a successful day: some of the 24 empty cases!

Oh my… I LOVE to barter!

Today I traded a bottle of my Strawberry Jam for homemade sourdough goodies from Nancy Matthews — a loaf of sourdough, sourdough pancakes, and a piece of lemon blueberry poppy seed sourdough.

Absolutely DELICIOUS!

Be sure to check out Nancy’s homemade goodness. She sells in the Codroy Valley and Port aux Basques area. Nothing better than supporting local and trading a little sweetness along the way!

FALL MARKET SEASON IS HERE!

I’m excited for my first fall market of 2026, in Codroy Valley this Saturday, September 19, from 12–3 PM!

This countdown is on! 🍂

The Autumn Market will be this Saturday September 19 from 12 - 3pm outside at the scenic Inn on the Grand 🍁

We are hoping the rain is all over with by then - if not our alternative location will be at Belanger Memorial School. 🍂

Our autumn market is one of the best because it’s harvest season! Come see what all our makers and gardeners have been growing & creating over the summer. 🍃

Vendors will be selling Baked goods, Fresh Eggs, Vegetables, Garden Preserves, Local Honey, Natural Body Care, Handmade Candles, Crochet, Handcrafts, Jewelry, Sea Glass Art & more! 🍂

The growing season has been short this year, especially for my jalapeños, but look at the results from just one plant!

All of my peppers are grown outdoors in raised beds or pots, and I need plenty of these beauties for Berry Patch Preserves’ pepper jellies and salsa. So much deliciousness coming soon! Frost please stay away.
