Just a friendly reminder that Steelsmith’s Smokehouse will be closed at Canadian Tire on Friday, September 4th, 2026, as we’ll be busy with catering. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding! ❤️

But don’t worry — you can catch us at Fall Fest in Williamstown on Sunday, September 6th from 10 AM–4 PM! 🎉🔥

We’ll be there serving up our FULL MENU, so come hungry! 🤤🍖

As we plan out the rest of our September schedule, we’d love to hear some feedback from our amazing community!

When we’re at Canadian Tire on Fridays, we normally open at 11 AM for lunch. However, because we often sell out before supper time, we know that many of you who are working during the day don’t always get the chance to stop by.

So, we’re thinking about switching things up for our Fridays in September and want to know what YOU would prefer:

🔥 Keep our usual 11 AM opening for lunch?
OR
🔥 Open from 3 PM–7 PM for supper instead, giving those who normally miss out because of work a chance to grab some BBQ?

🔥STEELSMITH’S SMOKEHOUSE — SEPTEMBER UPDATE! 🔥

It’s hard to believe, but our food trailer season will be coming to an end soon! Due to local by-law regulations, we’re only able to operate the trailer during certain months of the year, so we want to make the most of the time we have left with all of you! ❤️🔥

Here’s a look at where you can find Steelsmith’s Smokehouse throughout September. We’ll continue to post updates as the dates get closer, and please keep in mind that some dates may be subject to change if something comes up.

📅 SEPTEMBER SCHEDULE

🔥 Friday, September 4 — Closed for a scheduled catering event (sorry for any inconvenience)
🍂 Sunday, September 6 — Fall Fest, Williamstown (Full menu, great vendors and festival, take a beautiful drive to check it out and stop for some BBQ lunch 😊)
🔥 Friday, September 11 — Canadian Tire | 11 AM
🔥 Sunday, September 13 — Canadian Tire | 11 AM
🔥 Friday, September 18 — Canadian Tire | 11 AM

🏆🔥 September 25–27 — COMPETITION WEEKEND!

We’ll be away all weekend competing in a Professional KCBS BBQ Competition! Wish us luck as we fire up the smokers and put our BBQ skills to the test! 🐷🔥🏆

We also have several catering events throughout September, so it’s shaping up to be another busy month!

And just because the food trailer season ends soon doesn’t mean the BBQ has to! 😉 We are still available for catering throughout the off-season.

We’ve also been tossing around a few fun ideas for the colder months — including possibly offering pre-order BBQ meals on select weekends, so you can still get your Steelsmith’s BBQ fix during the off-season! 🔥🍖 Nothing has been finalized yet, but we’re exploring some options 😊🔥

For now, please follow our page, share our schedule, and watch for updates as September goes along!

We stopped by the Bassline Benefit yesterday, and what a wonderful event! 🎶❤️

It was great to see so many amazing people come together, enjoy the music, and support such an important cause. We were especially blown away by the number of generous sponsors who donated funds, food, water, and other support to benefit the Agape Centre and help those in our community.
It’s incredible to see what can happen when a community comes together to support one another. ❤️

Congratulations to everyone involved in putting together such a great event for an amazing cause! 👏🎶

We’d like to extend a big thank you to Mayor Justin Towndale for stopping by for lunch today and presenting us with a certificate recognizing Steelsmith’s Smokehouse as a new small business in our community!

Although we didn’t have a traditional grand opening, it was wonderful to still be acknowledged and welcomed. We truly appreciate the recognition and support—it means so much to us as a small, family-run business.
